The Short Version

1. Who We Are

MedClear is a consumer software service operated at medclearpro.com. We provide AI-powered analysis of medical billing documents to help individuals understand their charges, identify potential errors, and generate dispute letter templates.

We are not a law firm, medical practice, insurance company, or certified billing specialist. Nothing on MedClear constitutes legal, medical, or financial advice.

2. Your Account

To access certain features you'll need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information when signing up
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. What MedClear Does

MedClear uses artificial intelligence to:

• Translate medical billing codes into plain English descriptions
• Identify potential duplicate charges or billing inconsistencies
• Generate dispute letter templates based on the issues found
• Provide general information about common billing errors

Our AI analysis is a starting point for your own review — not a definitive determination of billing errors. Always verify findings with your healthcare provider or a certified billing specialist before taking action.

4. What MedClear Does NOT Do

• Provide legal advice or legal representation
• Guarantee any outcome from disputing a bill
• Negotiate with insurers or providers on your behalf
• Provide medical advice or diagnosis
• Access your insurance account or medical records directly

5. Subscriptions & Billing

MedClear offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro at $19/month, Family at $29/month). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy.

• Free trial — paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• Cancellation — you may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
• Refunds — we offer refunds within 7 days of any charge if you're unsatisfied. Email us at information@medclearpro.com.
• Price changes — we'll give you 30 days notice before any price increase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MedClear only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload documents that don't belong to you or that you don't have authorization to share
• Use MedClear to commit fraud or submit false dispute claims
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our service
• Use automated tools to access MedClear in bulk
• Share your account credentials with others (Family plan members get their own logins)

7. Your Content

You own the documents you upload. By uploading them you grant us a limited license to process them for the sole purpose of providing the analysis service. We do not claim ownership of your documents and delete them immediately after analysis is complete.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MedClear is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our AI analysis is 100% accurate, complete, or error-free. Medical billing is complex and our tool may miss errors or flag things that are not actually errors.

Always use your own judgment and consult a professional when making significant financial decisions related to medical billing disputes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedClear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you by email for significant changes and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of MedClear after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except for small claims court matters.
